Winning Your Weight Loss Struggle

If you’ve been struggling to get rid of unwanted pounds, you’re in the right place!

“I Can’t Get There from Here…”

Have you had this thought when it comes to weight-loss?

I know I did.

I’d think about how heavy I was and what my ideal weight was, and it seemed like there was a huge chasm I couldn’t cross…

Which leads me to one of the truths about successful weight-loss: It’s never an overnight thing. It takes time and consistent good choices to get there.

Here’s another truth (from this side of weight-loss): It’s totally worth the effort to reach your goal and live a happier, healthier life!

For so many of us, we picture the future we want, and we see ourselves being physically fit and healthy. Then we look at reality and think, “There’s no way I’ll ever get there…”

But there is a way!

No, I don’t have a magic pill to offer you. I’m also not aware of an Easy Button you can push to get to your ideal weight.

Here’s what I can offer you:

  • I can give you the plan I used to lose over 70 pounds (and keep it off afterward).
  • I can give you support and encouragement.
  • And I can give you the lessons I learned along my weight-loss journey.

 

Think of this as a crossroads:

Option One: You can keep going down the road you’ve been on.

(But you know where that road goes, don’t you?

More of the same…)

Option Two: You can pull over and wait for them to discover some new medical technique where they’ll put you to sleep and you’ll wake up at your ideal weight.

Or, Option Three: Start down this road with me. Keep your 30-day challenge going and see if you start to feel better and make progress toward your weight-loss goals.

You can always come back to this intersection and take a different path, but if you turn away now, you’ll never know if this could have been the way to the future you’ve dreamed of.

 

So, what do you say? Are you ready to cross that chasm? 

 

If you are, then it’s time to start thinking about your ideal weight.

Not the impossible number the BMI prescribes for you, but the weight loss goal you choose set for yourself.

Go ahead and dream big here!

Or you can simply think about a time in your life when you felt like you were physically at your best.

 

Whether you pick a number by looking forward or backward, write it down and keep it handy.

We’ll refer back to it in a future lesson.

For now,  just take a moment to picture yourself at that weight.
