Looking for a Low Carb Diet: Weight Loss in 2 Weeks? This Plan's for You!

Question: Is there a low carb diet where I can start losing weight within two weeks?

The answer: Sure there is!

When it comes to losing weight, following a low carb diet can be extremely helpful for some people. I say “some people,” because every body is different.

What works well for your friend may not be the perfect diet for you.

Why not?

Because you need a diet that meets you where you are.

For example: If you start on a diet that causes you to completely upend your current eating habits, you might stick with it—if you have incredibly strong willpower. But, for most people, willpower simply isn’t enough.

Why?

Because drastic changes often lead to burnout. Or, we may make a series of drastic changes to lose weight; and then, when we lose the weight, we go back to where we were before, and we gain all of the weight back!

Is this your story, or the story of someone you know?

Let’s see if we can’t help you find a better way to lose weight…

Now, am I saying going on a low carb diet is a bad idea? No way!

Almost all of us could benefit from cutting back on high carb and high calorie foods.

Where should we start?

I would recommend that you start with foods that have no real nutritional value.

Foods like: Ice cream, white bread, starchy vegetables, and sugary pastries and desserts.

How different would your carb and calorie intake look if you just cut back on those things?

But what if we took it even further?

What if we also cut back on foods that increase bad cholesterol, like eggs?

What if we stopped drinking excess calories in the form of sugary drinks or alcoholic beverages?

What if we stopped eating for entertainment altogether?

And then what if we worked on building healthier eating habits instead?

Over time, our bodies would be transformed by these new healthy habits!

Okay, so run along and make those changes.

Wait, you’re still here? Why?

It’s because simply having someone tell you what to eat (or not to eat) isn’t good enough!

You need action steps, but you also need the essential element that most diet plans leave out: you need help developing the right mindset!

The truth is, when you have the right mindset, many of the other details begin to fade into the background.

It’s not about counting carbs, or calories. It’s not about all meat or no meat. It’s about making one healthy choice after another until you reach your ideal weight. Period.

Why am I qualified to talk to you about any of this?

I mean, I’m not a nutritionist, I’m not a personal trainer, and I don’t claim to be a weight loss guru.

My only qualification is that I found a diet that worked for me, and I followed it until I reached my ideal weight.

You see, I went from 244 pounds, past my goal of 184 pounds, all the way down to 164 pounds.

Now, I lost most of that weight while following a plant-based diet, but that doesn’t mean you have to do the same thing. As I said before, every body is different, and there could be a diet that’ll work better for you.

I lost 14 pounds in my first two weeks on a plant-based diet, but I would never guarantee those results to anybody else.

And, as I hinted at before, the reality is that it’s not the type of diet you follow, it’s your mindset that matters most!

I believe that if you will take the time to develop the proper mindset and motivation, you can succeed on any diet.

What do I mean?

I mean that our habits, behaviors, and ways of thinking set the trap that led us to becoming overweight.

So, if we want to lose weight, it starts by addressing the way we think and the habits we’ve formed.

If you have a habit of drinking three sodas a day, just telling you to cut out soda isn’t enough. You need a plan to replace that in your diet.

Telling you to get rid of sweets and sugary desserts is much less helpful than pointing you toward ways to introduce more fruit into your life and giving you tools to avoid the temptations that inevitably come when you’re trying to be disciplined on your diet.

That’s what my book: Plant-Based Diet Success: A Fun and Simple Way to Lose Weight and Feel Great for Life is all about.

It’s about supplementing your diet with strategies that help you develop a winning mindset for losing weight. And the lessons that I share to help you gain the right mindset can be used in combination with any diet.

Low calorie. Low carb. Shakes. Intermittent fasting. Even keto.

The point isn’t your diet, the point is coming up with an action plan that will help you get from where you are to where you want to be!

You have the potential within you to start living a happier, healthier life today!

Not two weeks from now.

Not three months down the road.

Today!

And, if you’ve read this far in this blog, then you’re already on the right path.

You’re looking for answers, and you’re willing to do whatever it takes to find them!

So, keep it up! Decide today that you’re going to do whatever it takes to lose the weight!

As I share in my book, start by thinking about Why you want to lose the weight:

  • To be able to play actively with your kids or grandkids
  • To extend your life or regain your health
  • To boost your self-confidence

There are endless reasons you might be trying to lose weight, and all it takes is one that’s close to your heart. One that will keep you motivated when the going gets tough.

You see, in the end, it’s not about a low carb diet, weight loss in 2 weeks, or finding the perfect plan.

It’s about your dream of a happier, healthier life. And your determination to make that dream a reality.

I believe my book can help you do that.

Why?

Because the lessons in it are the same ones that guided me to weight loss success.

However, regardless of whether or not you follow my plan, I hope you’ll reach out to me with any questions you have.

I’m here to support you, and I will gladly cheerlead you from today until you reach your ideal weight and start living your ideal life!
